About Us — Taras Biltong, Earlsfield London

We’re Stephen and Tara — a husband-and-wife duo with a love for all things biltong. We opened Taras Biltong in Earlsfield, London, in November 2020, and just a week later, the world shut down due to COVID-19. It wasn’t easy, but we pulled through — and in the process, we’ve built a shop known for authentic, mouthwatering biltong that’s made with care, passion, and a whole lot of flavour.

Since day one, our focus has been quality over quantity. Every bag of biltong and every stick of droëwors is crafted using the best ingredients, because we believe our customers deserve nothing less. Over time, we’ve earned a reputation built on trust, consistency, and dedication — and we’re proud to say our biltong is now a proper London favourite.

At Taras Biltong, you’ll find more than just a shop. You’ll find a warm welcome, a bit of cheeky South African humour, and probably a giggle over one of our terrible meat jokes.
