Please note: All our orders are freshly cut to order so all biltong flavours will be in the medium- wet range we don't do dry biltong. If you want very pink biltong please add it to the notes and we will do our best to pick the wetter sticks to slice for you.

Biltong Storage And Handling Tips

1. Room Temperature: Keep your biltong in a bowl or container for a few days. Toss occasionally or cover the bowl to allow airflow.
2. Brown Paper Bag: Using a brown paper bag will help it dry faster if you like a firmer texture.
3. Fridge or Freezer: Store in a container in the fridge for longer freshness, or freeze if not ready to eat. Let it thaw properly before enjoying.

   Wet Biltong Alert: Open the bag as soon as possible after purchase if it’s slightly moist.
2. Avoid Sealing Too Long: Keeping it sealed for 1–2 days can cause mould. Biltong needs air circulation to stay fresh.
